About Me
I've been fascinated by learning since childhood, so after completing a B.A. in German, I earned an M.A. and a Ph.D. in German Language and Literature, intending to become a college German professor. In addition to my academic coursework, thesis, and dissertation research, I studied foreign language pedagogy and had the opportunity to teach German language, literature, and culture courses at all levels, from introductory language to graduate-level seminars.
After completing my doctorate, I worked in higher education administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, collaborating with faculty, leadership, and students to build competence and expertise in foreign languages and international/area studies. I enjoyed creating connections across disciplines and departments to implement exciting new academic initiatives and groundbreaking curricula.

I currently apply my instructional experience to the corporate realm, specializing in new-employee onboarding, leadership development, and software training. I design and implement innovative learning programs by leveraging cross-functional communication, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of adult learning to positively impact employee performance, customer experience, and business outcomes.
